Hades’ sublime combination of satisfyingly gritty and flexible combat, a wonderfully vibrant art style, and a truly fun and engaging story make for a near-perfect action-packed package. Supergiant Games have had a great track record so far, but this really feels like their best time. It’s an underworld rampage that’s arrived on Switch. Even if you’re not already affected by the certainly recurring ebb and flow of the hack-and-slash roguelike genre, I highly recommend you at least give this one a try. For fans of the genre or anyone with even the slightest interest, this is one of his visions of heavenly hell, and I highly recommend sacrificing yourself.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is a great time sink game, featuring silly and fun action gameplay that offers dozens, if not hundreds, of hours of potential content. It does feel a little too bloated in places, but it does a good job of balancing the elements of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors. Group all of this with excellent presentation and impressive portable gameplay, and you have a game that does a great job of doing something new (and weird) in a classic Nintendo property. I recommend this especially to fans of his Zelda series who have always wanted some sort of “anniversary” game. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition may not have a lot of depth, but it’s frantic hack-and-slash fun in the world of Zelda that you’ll miss out on if you don’t get this full version.

Getting Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Switch in this form is a blessing not to be missed. The game itself is a psycho-sensory experience that we thoroughly recommend, but the fact that it translates so perfectly to Switch is a real surprise here. One of the most underrated franchises, this port finally unleashes the apocalypse in handheld format.

After a great release on Wii U, Bayonetta 2 shines brightest on Nintendo Switch. It runs flawlessly at 60 fps, looks incredibly beautiful in both TV and tabletop modes, and offers an addictive, free-flowing combat formula sprinkled with platforming, light exploration, and silly storylines to keep things simple. create something in requirement Experience.
