winter update Halo Infinite comes out and brings the biggest feature update to both the game’s campaign and free-to-play multiplayer since it launched on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10/11 and Steam last year. - Match XP & New Battle Pass: Winter update is a big first step towards evolution Halo Infinite Progression experience in Match XP Beta. Built on player feedback, Match XP rewards a player for completing a match, giving him extra XP for performance (win/loss, standings at the end of the match, etc.). - NEW MULTIPLAYER MAPS AND GAME MODES: Two new multiplayer arena maps — Argyle and Detachment — have been added to rotation, both built entirely within Forge. Argyle is a tight indoor map set within a narrow passageway of a UNSC ship, and Detachment is his once-abandoned UNSC facility set on top of a rocky outcrop. The new mode, Covert One Flag, is a unique variation of the One Flag CTF, with the attacking team equipped with active camouflage and the defending team possessing threat sensors.
- Campaign network co-op and mission replays: Whether you’re stepping into Master Chief’s legendary Mjolnir-clad boots for the first time or returning to Zeta Halo, you can jump in with up to three friends for an epic experience. Halo Infinite Campaign together in the Campaign Network Co-Op. Cross-play is supported on all Xbox devices and PCs, and progress and unlocks are shared by all players. Any mission can be replayed from TACMAP if you want to relive a particular part of the campaign or need to collect leftover collectibles.
