We are now approaching the end of 2022. This means Nintendo’s next big first-party release, Fire Emblem Engage, is just around the corner. Yes, in case you missed it, the title launches on Switch on his January 20th.
Nintendo continues to introduce (and reintroduce) characters one by one, with the latest showing the return of Lucina.Debuted in 2012 Nintendo 3DS Fire Emblem: Awakening. Here’s a little bit about her in her latest game (translated by: @Satsuma FS), what she looks like in battle:
Lucina’s Synchro Skill “Dual Strike” allows anyone to chain attacks regardless of class. The wider the attack range, the greater the chance of chain attacks.
Lucina’s Engage Weapon, Noble Rapier, deals heavy damage to cavalry and armored enemies.
Lucina’s Engage Skill “Shield of Bonds” has a high chance of nullifying damage to adjacent allies. If used by melee units, this probability is 100%.
Lucina’s Engage technique, All for One, allows all allies within 2 tiles to join the chain attack. Depending on the formation, all allies can join the attack.
Fire Emblem Engage allows players to summon and battle legendary heroes from past Fire Emblem games. In addition to Lucina, characters such as Marth and Celica will reappear. You can check out our Nintendo Life Guide to see who will be in the Fire Emblem Engage cast.
