The game takes place in 19th-century England, in the remote village of Beaulay. City girl and archaeologist Thomasina Bateman arrives to investigate a mysterious wheelbarrow (read: mound) in a desolate wasteland. Naturally, the townspeople are not happy about the arrival of new people in their village. Except for the Yorkshire accent, it gives out a lot of cues like “You ain’t from around” like hot fuzz. Thomasina must negotiate, take bribes, and annoy people to get permission to excavate for her (thrilling) book about wheelbarrows in England. But she might undermine that her efforts…
