Razer has revealed the Edge, the “world’s first dedicated 5G handheld console” to hit the market. Our partnership with Xbox allows you to play Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games through Cloud Gaming.
The Razer Kishi has already established itself as one of the best mobile controllers on the market, and given the company’s experience gaming on the go via the Razer Phone, it’s time to combine the pair into one integrated device. It is only natural to do so. : Razer Edge. Plus, our partnership with Xbox lets you play some of the best games on your device’s Game Pass via Xbox Cloud Gaming, including Vampire Survivors, but requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription to access am.

Released on January 26th. Razer Edge Available in three formats: Razer Edge Wi-Fi, Razer Edge Founders Edition and Razer Edge 5G. The latter doesn’t have a price tag right now, but we know the former two models are going to be $399.99 and $499.99 respectively, so it’s safe to assume it’ll cost you over $600 to get the full 5G experience, but you sounds like you might get good value for your money.
Each device comes with a Razer Kishi V2 ā yes, the Edge is actually a screen itself that can be easily used for touch control gaming or snapped to the Kishi for traditional joysticks and triggers. It’s an Android-based device powered by a Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 active-cooled gaming chipset with a 3 GHz Kryo CPU capable of running games on Edge’s 6.8-inch FHD 144Hz AMOLED touchscreen display. As for the Razer Edge 5G model itself, Razer has partnered with Verizon to optimize the Edge for the company’s 5G Ultra-Wideband network.
It remains to be seen if the device will be able to compete in a market currently dominated by mobile, which most players already have, but it will be interesting to see how well it performs at launch.
