when Just Cause 4 was listed as a PS Plus Extra game for the PS5 next-gen version back in January, so many expected a stealth update later this week, but unfortunately, it all turned out to be a mistake. All mention of the PS5 version of the game has since been removed from the PS Blog, and the game will only be available on PS4 when it’s added on January 17th.
Will Just Cause 4 update to PS5?
At this point, four years after the game’s release, it’s unlikely Just Cause 4 will be upgraded to PS5.Avalanche Studios is currently busy with other projects, including a new Just Cause game and an Xbox exclusive, Contraband.
Rumors of a PS5 upgrade started circulating when playstation blog All PS Plus Extra and Premium game additions for January 2023 are listed. The blog has since been edited to remove all mention of the PS5 upgrade. That means his only PS5 games added this month are Back 4 Blood, Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, and Jett: The Far Shore. There are also three PS1 Classics coming to PS5.
Just Cause 4: Reloaded becomes a download-only title when you join the PS Plus Extra. If you prefer to stream the game, the standard Just Cause 4 is offered instead.
