Skyblivion, the team of modders behind a project aimed at recreating Oblivion in Skyrim’s engine (unlike Morrooblivion, which ported Morrowind to Oblivion’s engine, or Skywind, which ported Morrowind to Skyrim’s engine). The team of modders behind the folks will know when their 10+ years of work will finally be done. The latest trailer provides an “official release year announcement” and declares that Skyblivion will be completed by his 2025. This will be at least sooner than The Elder Scrolls 6 will show up.
That’s 2025 “at the latest”, which is clear from the description in the YouTube video. “Making a game takes time. That’s twice as much as a volunteer project the size of a AAA game it took a team of full-time DEVS years to make. We can promise a 2025 release at the latest.”
As with all Skyblivion trailers, we hope this one brings more volunteers to the project.
The trailer reminds us that Skyrim is over ten years old. That said, it’s clearly Frisson to see familiar places and faces in Oblivion return in slightly glossy form. It showcases views across the river from the sky, encounters with the Dark Brotherhood, and various giants, goblins, undead, and dremora. Not leveling up too fast and scaling he kept the system from breaking.
One modder named Rebelzize comments below the trailer:This video”. If you want to sign up, go to Skyblivion volunteer page (opens in new tab) Contains all the information you need.
Once Skyblivion is released, you will need to own both Skyrim Special Edition and Oblivion and all their DLCs to run it. Here are the best Skyrim Special Edition mods you can try today.
