It’s been years since we last heard about the new IP Everwild from Rare, but executive producer Louise O’Connor says the team is looking to “warm up for the year ahead.” I’m here.
When Everwild was announced as a big upcoming title from the Xbox Game Studios team in 2019, it grabbed everyone’s attention with its eye-catching art style and promise of an intriguing new world. It’s been a while since we heard anything about Everwild, aside from reports that it’s been rebooted with a 2024 launch in mind, so I’m happy to confirm that Everwild is still on the way.
“It’s been an incredibly busy few weeks as we warm up with Team Everwild for the year ahead.” To tell Before executive producer Louise O’Connor returned to the studio and asked fans what they’d like to see. Get what you can. We have been looking forward to this for some time.
What we know about Everwild so far is that you play as one of the Eternals, who share a connection with nature and the strange creatures of Everwild, trying to protect them from strange waves of locust-like insects. There seems to be a lot of mystery and magic in the world of Everwild, including the sky creatures at the end of the trailer above.
No hints yet as to when we’ll get more information about Rare’s elusive Everwild, but we’ll keep an eye on it. When do you think we’ll learn more about the game? Let us know in the comments!
