With the release of mandalorian Only 6 weeks until Season 3. After a two-year hiatus, Lucasfilm released a new trailer on Monday, giving us a glimpse of what’s next in Din Djarin and Grog’s adventures.
The third season of Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s Star Wars series takes place after an ostensible side story in 2022. boba fett bookGrogg leaves Jedi training with Luke Skywalker behind and reunites with Ding (Pedro Pascal, now starring Last of Us). Din was banished from his cult, the Children of the Clock, allowing him to see himself without the helmet. It seems to be setting up an odyssey to the Mandalorian homeworld.
Din still wields the legendary Darksaber as well and is presumably qualified to rule Mandalore, but Katee Sackhoff’s Bokatan probably has something to say about it. returns to the show’s cast as Gurief Karuga. Giancarlo Esposito will also return, as the snarky Moff Gideon, and as veteran character actor Christopher Lloyd (back to the futureDoc Brown) will appear. Oh, and Bab Flick is back.
mandalorian Season 3 will premiere on Disney Plus on March 1st.
