BioShock creator Ken Levine’s next game, Judas, is set to release by March 2025, according to publisher Take-Two.
Announced for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC at The Game Awards in December, Judas is a single-player narrative first-person shooter from Ghost Story Games led by BioShock Director Ken Levine. No release date was given at the time of publication, but publisher Take-Two has now narrowed the game’s release window slightly.
Judas will be released by March 2025
Take-Two’s latest earnings report says the publisher will release a whopping 87 games between fiscal years 2023 and 2025 (ending March 31, 2025).in an interview with IGNTake-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Judas will be one of 87 games to launch in that window.
When asked about the delay, Zelnick said: I am optimistic that we will continue to deliver great titles to the market. ”
Elsewhere, Take-Two announced a “cost-cutting program” to cut $50 million in annual spending following unexpected sales of several games, including Marvel’s Midnight Suns. As for layoffs, Zelnick said Take-Two “does not expect any large-scale layoffs. We are working to improve efficiency by division.”
