Chainsawesome Games Announces Studio Closure
We would like to thank everyone in this community for their support over the years. You have given us the motivation to create innovative new games and push our boundaries. We will always remember how much fun it was to build Aftercharge with your help, and how much fun it was to play with everyone during our playtesting sessions. We couldn’t have come this far without you.We are forever grateful for your dedication to our studio.
I miss you all.
The Chainsawsome Team
In a post on the developer’s Discord channel, Chainsawesome Games announced that it will be shutting down, though no specific date was given. The studio says its latest release, Knight Squad 2, was only moderately successful. Great for playing with young children. Aftercharge’s servers shut down some time ago and the game was removed from the Xbox store. At the time, all of his existing Aftershock players were sent in-game currency so he could make the most of the remaining time and finish. The team also distributed code for the game to help achievement hunters who started it during the game. If it was in Game Pass, please complete it before shutdown.
