GameStop Reportedly Unavailable Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition In Stores
As first reported by Twitter user Wario64, GameStop apparently issued an internal memo to its employees asking them to cancel all pre-orders of the Collector’s Edition in stores as the stock would not arrive at retailers. The memo does not mention anything about online ordering, leaving players in the dark about where pre-orders go.
If you pre-ordered Resident Evil 4 Collector’s Edition IN-STORE on GameStop, you were issued a note stating that CE will not arrive in store and will not be fulfilled/arrived.

Wario64 claims the memo directs employees to inform customers that they can pre-order something else instead, receive in-store credit instead, or receive a full refund. .
According to Twitter user Rule Time SpaceGameStop told their sources that online ordering should be safe.
