Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Season 02 Reloaded will be released on March 15th. The midseason update continues the epic action from the start of the season with the introduction of Special Ops Raid Episode 02, Himmelmatt Expo 6v6 multiplayer map, new camo challenges, new free functional weapons, and more.
Raid Episode 02, Himmelmatt Expo, and Other Party Modes
Test your skills in new co-op raids, explore Himmelmatt’s idyllic winter retreat, and unleash in new multiplayer party modes.
Atomgrad Raid Episode 02: Team up with two other players and take on the roles of Captain Price, Farah, and Gaz on a new mission to identify and obtain deadly warheads. Operators must navigate deadly traps and increasing enemy resistance as they ascend through missile silos.
As part of the midseason update, anyone who owns Modern Warfare® II will be able to access the raid. Raid Missions are no longer required for access. Players who successfully complete Episode 02 will be able to tackle the veteran version of the raid, with a higher chance of completing missions for additional rewards.
Himmelmat Expo (6v6): Unfold into Himmelmatt Expo, a new core multiplayer map set in a European mountainside. Fight in the Main Event Center and skirmish in the snow-covered streets surrounding this winter retreat’s luxurious facilities. Look for the Himmelmatt Expo in the Quick Play rotation and look for the Season 02 Reloaded featured playlist.
Grab your winter jacket and get ready to head to this idyllic corporate retreat nestled in the Swiss Alps. However, a participant in the scheduled Oil & Gas Summit 2023 has to delay his arrival as fighting breaks out between the SpecGru and KorTac forces at the scene.
The Himmelmatt Expo consists of four main areas.
Event center: The Event Center is a huge building that takes up almost half of the map and houses reception services, meeting rooms, lounges and terraces. The structure consists of two levels: the main floor, which runs through the terraces from the front desks on either side of the building, and the lower floor, which leads to the meeting rooms.
Main road: Roads lead to the upper and lower entrances to the event center, with parked vehicles scattered here and there. The south roundabout overlooks the sauna and restaurant. On the other hand, North Street operators enjoy a similar view against enemies spawning from saunas and pools. Use the various trucks and vehicles here for cover if you need to, and be sure to get inside and race when you get notified of a flurry of enemy fire.
restaurant: The Restaurant is smaller than the Event Center, but it still has an important place on the map, and several game modes place objectives on or near buildings.
Pool & Sauna: Saunas offer a slightly safer route when traveling outdoors, given that they are located on the side of the map and the buildings are well covered. If you need to get past the pool area, use Tactical Sprint to get through it quickly. Otherwise, you risk becoming a sitting duck on a cold winter day.
Himmelmatt Expo spawn:
The SpecGru operator that spawns at the top of the map will immediately head to the North Hall or follow the roundabout towards the pool, restaurant and sauna.
The KorTac unit spawns at the southern edge of the map, facing the Event Center. There, a welcome message will be displayed in a variety of languages. When starting a match here, the operator has several options: Rushing through the double-door entrance that leads to the lobby — from there, the lounge, Head to the terrace, or the meeting room — take the double-door entrance to the lounge, or stay outdoors, wrapping around the main building toward the pool and sauna.
On a large map like Himmelmatt Expo, it’s important to know when to move and attack, and when it’s best to defend your base. If you move too aggressively, you will be eliminated during the move. Play New Party Mode
Following the re-releases of Infected, Gun Game, and Modern Warfare II’s Grind, Season 02 Reloaded removes three more party modes from Call of Duty’s nearly 20-year history.
Drop zone: Capture and hold drop zones to score points in this chaotic team-based mode. Every 15 seconds a drop zone is occupied, a care package containing a killstreak will drop nearby. This will prioritize rotation to the next drop zone so you can dig in and start earning those packages as soon as possible.
All or nothing: Equipped with only throwing knives and pistols with no ammo, each operator must fight in a race to earn 20 eliminations. Starting with a scavenger perk that can pick up ammo, eliminating enemies earns additional her perks.
One in the chamber: Enter the match with a pistol, 1 bullet, and 3 lives. Each player fights for himself and a single shot to any part of the body gains elimination and gives the attacker one more bullet for the next fight. .
Call of Duty: Warzone 3rd Anniversary
To celebrate Warzone’s 3rd anniversary, all players will receive free items from the in-game store themed around maps, seasons, and memories from the surprise launch on March 10th, 2020 onwards. These rewards include free weapon blueprints, calling cards and emblems. Check the in-game store daily to receive rewards throughout the season.
Ronin’s Road Event Camouflage Challenge
When the midseason update launches, Ronin’s Path will transition from the Seven Virtues of Bushido to a new set of challenges tied to weapon camouflage. Complete the challenge to unlock a new camouflage — Ash Wind — for all weapons in that category. Completing all 10 challenges will reward you with a separate new Bowing His Blossom camo for each weapon, as well as a golden charm that represents your dedication to following Ronin’s Path.

Season 02 Reloaded gives you more ways to deal with enemies. They like to attack loudly or quickly and quietly.
Tempo Torrent: This new Marksman Rifle offers impressive damage and rapid-fire mechanics, making it an ideal primary weapon when deploying to the new Himmelmatt Expo multiplayer map or Sea Lion Island.Unlock Tempus Torrent by completing in-game weapon challenges or purchasing from store bundles

New Social Feature: Party Queuing
Among other technical updates for Modern Warfare and Warzone 2.0 that all developer studios are working on, one notable feature that makes it even easier to party up with friends and competitive teammates is I have one addition.
Party queuing allows players to automatically join a friend’s party when an active match ends. Just like inviting your friends to parties and channels, you can access your Party Girlfriend queue from the in-game Social Girlfriend menu.
Selecting the Party Queue option will wait in the Hangar Bay pre-match lobby until a specific friend finishes their match and automatically join the lobby for the next match. While in queue, you can use voice and text chat with players you are currently competing with. All queued players will appear in the Game Channel members list for all players in that party.
Please note that if party queuing causes the current squad’s new party size to exceed the maximum number of parties for the match, the current squad may be ineligible for playlist requeue (e.g. : Get a party of 5 from Party Queuing after the Battle Royale Quad match ends). In such cases, you’ll need to switch to a game mode that can accommodate the new party size, or find a way to revert to the game mode’s party size limit.
