Your heroic abilities come from magical artifacts, and we’ll tell you about their lore and mechanics!
Atlas Essence
In the world of Atlas, Essence is at the core of everything. All organic matter and each particle of a sandy surface is made of organic matter. Ancient magic built its power in essence, but that knowledge has long been lost. One day our hero stumbled upon this magical remnant in the form of a centuries-old artifact, a gauntlet.
Gauntlets allow the wearer to control the essence that exists around them. They can therefore manipulate the essence particles found in objects, structures and elements, altering their structural integrity, and rebuilding or destroying them. , which shapes the surrounding sand into various weapons during battle. The Gauntlet’s ability to manipulate its surroundings allows players to leap into the air for epic vertical movement and rapid movement by gliding across the sands of Atlas. Gauntlets are very versatile tools.
Reforging Gauntlets
Unfortunately for our heroes, they discovered a glitch in the gauntlet. Forged by a mysterious being, it was dismantled shortly after its creation so that no one could use its magic again. Catalyzer and Shard He needs two important components.
The more essences appear, the more difficult it is to control. The Catalyzer’s role is to collect and direct the essence into himself, increasing his natural power tenfold. This component has been split into his three pieces called “Catalyst Pieces”, which must be found and put back together. As you collect new Catalyst pieces, you can reforge portions of the Gauntlet, unlocking powerful new abilities in the process. Each Catalyst his piece must be completed with a specific essence-infused object called a “shard”. This gives the hero more control over the essence.
As you travel through the world of Atlas, you’ll encounter Catalyst pieces and shards that will gradually enhance your gauntlet’s capabilities to advance you further in the game.
transformation weapon
If you acquire the power to manipulate the essence, you can turn the sand around you into various weapons. To do this, you will need to find the corresponding weapon memory. During his journey, he can find three weapons: Dune Cleaver, Sand Whip, and Knuckle Dust. They all grow larger and more powerful as they collect essences during battle. This process is called gaining momentum.
of dune cleaver is a heavy weapon that is incredibly powerful in that it deals extremely devastating AoE damage to enemies. It takes on one of two different shapes, depending on the attack you’re performing. One of which he is an axe. Ideal for performing massive sweeps that deal tons of damage while destabilizing targets. Another is Hammer. It specializes in crowd control and creates a large damage he area when slammed into the ground.
of Sandwip A quick swing of the sword combined with a wide sweep of the whip. It’s the fastest and most efficient weapon for building momentum and offers a variety of mobility options. A good example of this is the sandwich hook. This is a move that allows you to hook onto a target and pull towards it. This makes the Sandwip a very versatile weapon that can be used to keep enemies at a safe distance while building momentum, or use its high mobility to quickly enter and exit combat, A devastating melee dagger can land his hits. Consumes momentum over time.
lastly, knuckle dust is a fist weapon that covers both forearms and grows into an additional pair of arms as momentum increases. Perfect for quickly eliminating threats.
With the ability to wield two weapons at once, you can create your own loadout with your favorite moves. In addition to these weapons, using Essence Stones greatly enhances your combat abilities. These allow you to perform unique and powerful attacks that can be customized to your preferred playstyle.
