Valheim was released on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One earlier this week, but it doesn’t appear to be exclusive to those consoles as originally thought. According to an email sent to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, the game will be exclusive to those consoles for six months, and it’s very likely coming to PS5 and PS4 soon after.

Earlier this week, Iron Gate’s Jonathan Smårs said the developer was “only looking at Xbox” when asked if the game was headed to PlayStation in the future, but he didn’t rule it out either. The Early Access game was a huge success on PC, selling over 5 million copies in just a few weeks, with players flocking to survive and explore its procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. With any luck, Valheim will finish his Xbox exclusive and also be available on PlayStation consoles by the end of the year.
