Microsoft’s Xbox sales are in full swing again this week, with sales from Ubisoft, EA, and Critically Acclaimed slashing prices for games and DLC for Xbox and PC. Here’s what the TrueAchievements news team thinks are great deals.

It’s the weekend again, so the TrueAchievements news team donned their snorkels and popped into the bargain bins for bargains. His Xbox sales this week include a Ubisoft Open World Sale, an EA Publisher Sale, and a rave sale that slashes prices on games and DLC for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Here are some recommendations from our personal collection…

Discounts from bargain bins

Luke — Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown — Top Gun: Maverick Ultimate Edition

It’s certainly a mouthful title, but if it means playing one of the best dogfight games in recent years while blasting through Danger Zone, it must be worth it. This ultimate version of 7 is packed with extras, and while the base game often sells for significantly less than this, the Maverick add-on pack alone is usually priced the same. The entire game, Season Pass content, and It’s that extra Top Gun goodness, so I think you’re getting a pretty good deal here. , take the opportunity that can make Ace Combat 7 great. There are various mission types as well as online play if you want to show off your moves to other pilots around the world. You’ll also need it if you’re aiming for fairly long completions, but the good news on that front is that some DLC bits make some grind achievements a little more manageable, even if the added content isn’t. There is no need to add additional gamerscore beyond the base 1,000G. See you in the skies, cadets!

Sean

Sean — Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Did you see that awesome Hellblade II character demo? Watching the demo reminded me how much I enjoyed my first game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. On sale this week starting at $7.49/£6.24/€7.49. Most people don’t need to explain how good Hellblade is, but if you haven’t played it yet, read on. In Hellblade, you play as Senua, a Celtic warrior who suffers from psychosis as he journeys into the dark depths of Helheim to fight for the soul of his dead lover. It’s a relatively short time, around 6 hours, but every second is full of atmosphere and tension, making for a memorable experience. I don’t want to say too much about the story or what happens. Because you have to see it with your own eyes. Gameplay, on the other hand, is a bit lackluster, with most people tending to bounce off of his Hellblade. Combat is very basic and lacks enemy types: light attacks, heavy attacks, dodges, blocks, and special abilities that can slow down time. That’s really all it can do, and it’s not bad, but it’s not great either. The puzzles are also a bit boring and can be frustrating. However, if you want an experience that offers a very good story and an impressive, impressive mental health investigation, definitely consider picking up Hellblade this week. Please wear headphones to play!

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness.

Set in the age of the Vikings, a wounded Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest to Viking Hell to fight for the soul of his deceased lover.

Created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people experiencing psychosis, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice draws you deep into Senua’s mind.

Tom

Tom — Soulcalibur VI Deluxe Edition

Usually Luke promotes fighting games and talks about all of the title’s intricate mechanics and well-implemented parry systems, but this week we decided to give you one. Am I a fighting game expert? no. Do you hate fighting games after your first hour of playing?Yes. Why is SoulCalibur VI different? Well, that’s a good question. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy playing quirky Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct, but my skills extend to learning the punch, kick, and jump buttons. The moment you attempt an “advanced” move, your hands will be sweaty as your fingers play a round of Twister.

Soulcalibur VI is one of the arcade fighting games I really enjoyed, thanks to its not-too-hard-to-beat campaign mode. Great fun and a complete character His customization suite is included so you can make your fighter your own. The controls feel much more user-friendly compared to other games in the genre. It also features RPG-style modes that are a lot of fun to play and reveal an extra layer of story that you control. Now is the perfect time to give SoulCalibur VI Deluxe Edition a try with 85% off!

Do you have any plans to add any of these games to your collection? Or do you have any suggestions? Visit the comments below and let us know!
