From the launch model’s beautiful glossy finish, to the XL follow-up’s smooth, curvilinear-edged casing, to the ‘New’ branch and 2DS variants, the 3DS family of portables has been quite the I found myself falling for Nintendo’s clever trickery and happily upgrading from a reliable system to a slightly better and reliable system. Before I knew it, I became familiar with multiple 3DS consoles. Yeah, Nintendo saw us a mile away.
In retrospect, does this author own 7 books in total? Yes, technically he is seven. However, two of them were included in his eBay bundle with the game, one of which he gave to a colleague. However, we all work at a website called Nintendo Life. You would probably expect to have more systems to our name than people working at Horse & Hound and the like. Some families have gone through multiple systems, “Oh, I definitely need another one for work.” It’s not the only excuse people use.

Do you still own all of your past 3DS consoles? Did you trade in each previous one to get the next one? If so, how did you transfer the games? Did you get the special edition? These fancy 2DS variants with molded cases? Too many 3DS numbers?!?!
