Dragon Quest XII Flame of Destiny It was officially announced in May 2021, and neither Square Enix nor series creator Yuji Horii has revealed much about it since then.
Now, with the new development, the game’s logo seems to have been updated a bit and shines a little more.Gematsu shared a before and after comparison on social media below. According to the same source, the latest archive of the page suggests that the logo was updated after January 23, 2023.
When DQXII was first announced, creator Yuji Horii mentioned how the title would be a “darker”, adult-oriented take on the long-running JRPG series. The game also appears to run on his Unreal Engine 5 and could form the next “10 to 20 years” of the series.
