We are based in Boulder, Colorado, surrounded by beautiful mountains and vast prairies. Over the years, we have been truly inspired by the meaningful impact of Colorado culture, the idea of environmental sustainability, and the magnificence of our local landscape. of homestead arcana, you find yourself in a post-apocalyptic world. For thousands of years, careless use of magic has sunk the world into a sea of toxic miasma. Life in the clouds is almost impossible. People and creatures who managed to survive in the miasma became warped, mysterious, twisted, and dangerous. Most of the population is terrified, reserved and isolated because of this global catastrophe. But you are not. Using magic, intellect, and grit, you set out to restore the land for future generations. Over the course of the game, discover the secrets behind the Miasma, tend plants and homesteads to enhance your spells, and use the magic of nature to restore the land. The inspiration was very broad, from WPA posters to woodcuts that captured the grandeur of landscapes in the classic Americana imagination.
