Rarely is the giant company that runs the bank unable to do exactly what it wants to do. CMA sabotaging the deal means Microsoft’s job will be harder, but it’s hard to believe that some variation of this acquisition hasn’t been finalized.
Microsoft may have to make concessions here and there, but after all this turmoil, do you really believe Microsoft will never get what it wants? I don’t think so, and even if it took longer than expected to get approved, I wouldn’t have wasted so much time on the acquisition. .
