A New Legend – Ballistics
Ballistics is described as a sophisticated elderly gentleman who lives with a beast inside. Legends like me (I’m a sophisticated older gamer). Map Update – World’s Edge
World’s Edge is undergoing a major overhaul with some major changes to the existing layout. There are new vaults to the north, skyhook has recently experienced snowfall, smoke is clearing the sky and lava fissures are cooling, but perhaps the biggest discernible change I can’t wait to check out is an addition of monument points of interest. Located near the center of the map, this museum celebrates the past, present and future of Apex, from tribal artifacts to abstract sculptures. There is also a gift shop, but I doubt it sells equipment or ammunition.
Other significant changes include changes to the Harvester and Lava City areas. Fragment West’s construction stack, perhaps World’s Edge’s most popular and combat-intensive landing site, has been moved south to his Lava City area. Modification from scratch – shooting range
The Firing Range has been completely overhauled and with its grand reopening in the Arsernal Update, it has even more to offer players looking to hone their skills and test their arsenal of weapons. The shooting range features an agility course for practicing moves, a training ground for simulating combat with programmable test dummies that shoot back, and a duel pit where you can battle your friends in player-versus-player action. It has been. My player 2 and I used to do this at our previous shooting range, so the fact that there’s actually a place dedicated to dueling is a welcome surprise. , check out the new and improved shooting range. New Progression System – Weapon Mastery
The Weapon Mastery progression system allows you to level up any weapon by using it (in any game mode) and completing challenges associated with that weapon. Earn rewards along the way, including a unique Legendary Weapon Apex Pack for each weapon you master, and mastering them all culminates in a unique banner frame.
This is a great strategy for allowing new and old players to earn rewards for varying their loadouts and learning what each weapon does. I love completing special event challenges every day and every week, and am excited to track rewards and have even more tasks to complete just by playing the game.
New Survival Slot Item – Evac Tower
Previously you could equip a heat shield or mobile respawn beacon in your survival slot, apex legends With the Arsenal update, you can now equip the Evac Tower. This item can be found in the same places as most other items (on the ground, in loot bins, care packages, etc.). They are essentially mobile jump towers that can be used to move around the map quickly, depending on your team’s playstyle. It’s also great for pouncing on care packages and escaping ring closures.
Activating the Evac Tower launches a rocket into the air and deploys a giant balloon similar to the giant red balloon used in the Jump Tower. A zip line secures the balloon in place and the Evac Tower is ready for operation. Once used, you can ascend into the balloon and skydive to your next destination.
Some notes about the Evac Tower. It is not permanent and over time its health deteriorates and is eventually destroyed. Shooting it will speed up this process. That’s right, that includes friendly fire. Also, whenever you launch a rocket into the air with a balloon and a zipline attached, you’re almost pinpointing your location to nearby enemies. Could it be…or is it a good thing?
pinwheel update
Yes, I am excited about the Ping Wheel update. This seems silly, but it’s probably the most consistently used item in the game. Not all Legends are used in every match, and not all weapons are used in every game. But Ping Wheel’s bag of Apex Coins is used every round by you, your teammates, or someone on another team, and has to be one of the most widely used elements in the game.
This latest update replaces some unused options with new ping options to enhance and improve squad communication. Two extra pings have been added for skydiving and knocked players. A small update to a simple feature, but an important one that most of his Apex players rely on.
