god of war ragnarok
Developer: Santa Monica Studio
In God of War, your main attack and aim is there, so you’ll be hitting the trigger quite often. So I decided to lower the trigger’s stop to make it feel more like a regular button.
Jason McDonald, Design Director, Santa Monica Studio
For God of War Ragnarök, I wanted my character to move pretty fast, especially during combat, so I set the left analog stick to quick settings and the right analog stick to do the opposite. Move the camera, aim, etc.

FIFA 23
Developer: EA Sports
With the DualSense Edge wireless controller, FIFA/FC players can further customize their FIFA/FC experience by focusing on what matters more about the controller. Some players like the right stick to be perfectly accurate for skill moves, while others prefer a certain sensitivity when switching. Some players want to remap the controls at the system level to their liking. In contrast, some will be happy with the ability to activate the sprint faster by adjusting the length of the trigger.
The DualSense Edge controller now makes it easier to keep the running jockey active (L2 + R2) while activating teammate containment or player switching with the new back buttons (as L1 and R1), making it easier for defensive games was very helpful for Having an extra button on the back of the controller to customize with the commands you want will be invaluable when playing the decisive FUT Champions Match or Rival Derby in Career Mode..
Thomas Caleffi, Gameplay Producer, EA Sports
One of the most useful features that makes the DualSense Edge controller stand out and is especially suitable for FC enthusiasts is the adaptive trigger and back button. This allows players to react faster and play smarter on the pitch by quickly switching between different team tactics or changing team tactics. Boost team mentality without taking your thumbs off the stick. Add to that the option to remap buttons and adjust trigger sensitivity to your liking, giving FC fans more control and customization of their gameplay experience. It certainly makes for a more enjoyable and better experience.

Destiny 2
Developer: Bungie
The DualSense Edge controller was great for allowing us to delve deeper into some of Destiny 2’s pinnacle activities in both PvP and PvE. There are now two main configurations of him that go back and forth in Trials of Osiris and Raids, with matching in-game loadouts to complement each. Being able to switch seamlessly between in-game and out-of-game needs for Destiny 2’s pinnacle activity was a game changer.
Andy Salisbury, Senior Social Media Manager, Bungie
As a big fan of Destiny 2’s PvP modes such as Iron Banner and Scorch, the ability to map your preferred controller settings makes it very easy to tailor it to your particular playstyle. If you go to Scorched, you want chaos. It’s great being able to charge up the explosive goodness of this mode and plan exactly how to rain fire from above with the switchable back options. It allows me to go with the flow, stay in my head, and enjoy the utter chaos that inevitably comes when playing this mode head-on.With a variety of options on both the front and back of the controller, you get a more personalized experience, and personalization means everyone can play in more ways.
