Tears of the Kingdom recipe It exists to keep Link happy and healthy, even in a variety of difficult situations. The most basic recipe in his cookbook restores a few hearts to Link’s health meter, but if you add the right ingredients in the right amount, Link’s defense increases, his attack power increases, and even can protect the rink even in severe weather.
I’ll keep updating this list as I find more, but for now I’ll show you what you can use to cook with and how to get started.
How to cook in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
There are two cooking options in Tears of the Kingdom of Zelda, and there are two caretakers on Ozorajima who teach you the basics, but it’s easy to miss if you haven’t explored every corner of the island.
The crudest and least effective cooking method is to drop the ingredients in front of the open fire. It could be a campfire made from a bundle of wood, or a raging hell that was a field until you accidentally dropped a lit torch on the ground. When the food is immersed in the heat of the fire for a few seconds, it turns into something roasted, such as roasted meat or roasted apples.
Roasted items only restore a small amount of health, and offer little, if any, benefit from the inherent properties of the ingredients.
A better way to cook cooking pot. These jars are conveniently scattered across Hyrule and the skies, but you’re bound to find them in any stable. Using a cooking pot is the only way to combine ingredients, and the only way to brew elixirs from monster parts and creatures.
To use the Cooking Pot, open your inventory and select the ingredients you want to use. You can add up to 5, and the amount you add determines the effect you get. For example, cooking 1 Rushroom will provide a low-level speed boost that lasts for a short period of time, while cooking 3 will provide a longer-lasting boost. Rare ingredients tend to have stronger effects. Staminokavas give better stamina buffs than Stamela Mushrooms and Stamina Onion Bulbs.
