Some shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears require you to find and deliver Green Shrine Crystals to enter. This is the case with the Jochi Ihiga Shrine, located southwest of Tarrytown on the Akkara Plateau, waiting for you to come and start things. I will tell you where to get the crystals to solve this riddle.
How to Solve the Jochi Ihiga Shrine Puzzle in The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears
To enter Jochi-Ihiga Shine, you must start a sidequest in Tarrey Town in Akkala Highlands. Find the man standing next to the crystal in the green shrine in Tarrytown. Telling him about the crystal will start a “Rock for Sale” and he will try to sell it for 100 rupees.
Luckily, a woman saved the day and convinced the greedy man to drop the price. Once she’s done convincing you to sell the crystal for her 50 rupees, pay her to keep the crystal for yourself. Examine the crystal to begin the process of delivering it.
Attach the crystal to a nearby railroad car, hop on it and hit it once to get to the bottom. When you reach the construction site below, drop down and head towards the shrine (indicated by a beam of light from the crystal). You’ll soon be blocked by water, so you’ll need to build a boat, so move to the location of the building materials near the water’s edge near the cliffs.
You can build a boat out of sails and wood, but you’ll have the best luck if you bring your own zonai devices such as wings and fans. Finally, the latest technology can speed up the process. If you want to make it happen in any way, go across the water to the shrine and place the crystal there to open the entrance.
The puzzle is to get crystals to the entrance of the shrine, so as soon as you enter, you can get the reward of a treasure chest containing diamonds and receive the blessing light. Very cool.
