The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears offers many different ways to defeat enemies, but one player recently took it to a new level. GameSpot’s own video by his producer Max Blumenthal, a new 42-second clip of him depicting an absurd chain of events, has gone viral.
The video begins with Blumenthal confronting Hinox with some smaller enemies. The player then utilizes their rewind ability to freeze incoming rocks in mid-air before passing through them. Upon reaching the top of the rock (still in the air), Blumenthal will start shooting all enemies with arrows from above.
After killing a few enemies with arrows, the player flies into the air again. Now launch the rocket. After a graceful landing, an explosion knocks down a few more enemies, after which Blumenthal returns to the air and fires more arrows at his enemies. From there, the player uses a boomerang and then Zonai his device to surf the area, before taking down just about everyone else in a swift and fluid move.
It’s an impressive sequence of events that’s almost hard to parse, proving that just about anything is possible in this game.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was released in early May to critical acclaim. It was also a commercial success, selling over 10 million copies in just 10 days. It is currently exclusive to Nintendo Switch.
