Assassin’s Creed Mirage is one of Ubisoft’s fall flagship titles, with a discounted price of $49.99. However, it won’t be the norm for long. ubisoft jumped into the $69.99 game with two upcoming titles, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and The Crew: Motorfest.
‘Avatar’ and ‘The Crew’ raise Ubisoft to $69.99
Pre-orders for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and The Crew: Motorsport opened after Ubisoft Forward. The Crew: Motorsport is priced at $59.99 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but $69.99 for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. These more expensive versions also come with last generation ports. The Limited Edition (just the base version) comes with a Porsche 718 Spyder and a Fit His Jungle Pack containing additional cosmetics. Those who pre-order will receive a Liberty Walk Pack that includes a Toyota GR Supra, LBWK Outfit, and exclusive Tire His cosmetics.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora doesn’t have a previous-gen port and will cost a flat $69.99 across all three platforms. The limited edition (which is also the basic version) comes with his Sarentu Hunter Pack with one weapon and gear set. Pre-order purchasers will receive a character cosmetic set and a weapon skin.
Of course, these are just basic editions. His two more expensive versions of each game with built-in DLC are $99.99 and $119.99 for The Crew and $109.99 and $129.99 for Avatar. Avatar also has a giant physical version with various physical trinkets, but currently no price.
Another current-generation exclusive, Star Wars: Outlaws, isn’t available for pre-order yet, but could also be priced at $69.99. Skull & Bones will cost him $59.99 (but currently only for the PC version). This is probably a remnant of the long development cycle that started when the price was the norm. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is priced at $49.99 for him, similar to Mirage. All of these titles show that Ubisoft is not yet committed to one pricing standard across the board, but is willing to set higher prices for some titles.
