ATLUS recently announced that Persona 5 Tactica is coming to Switch on November 17, 2023. And today, at Anime Expo 2023, we premiered the trailer for some of the game’s combatant characters, including some we’ve never met before.
Check out the trailer above to learn more about Joker, Morgana, and the all-new Erina’s backgrounds and unique skill sets. These are just a few of the characters you’ll use to fight the domineering legion.
And unlike Persona 5, which is also available on Switch now, Persona 5 Tactica’s turn-based combat will be grid-based like XCOM 2 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. An isometric view of the battlefield allows players to strategically place their Phantom Thieves to take advantage of their strengths and attacks.
As for the story:
After a strange incident, the Phantom Thieves wander into a strange realm where the inhabitants live under oppressive oppression. Surrounded by a military group known as the Legionnaires, they find themselves in grave danger until a mysterious revolutionary named Elina rescues them and offers them a tempting deal in exchange for their cooperation. What is the truth behind the deal Erina made to the Phantom Thieves?
