update [Sat 2nd Jul, 2022 08:30 BST]: Following the leak earlier this week, BNE NAMCO officially confirmed the 2020 RPG release Sword Art Online: Alicization It’s coming soon to Nintendo Switch.
This version includes updates to the “Ancient Apostles” free content, and additional free and paid content will be available in later updates (Thanks, Gematsu). There is no release date for the Switch version yet, so keep an eye out for the near future.

Nintendo Community in Australia Vooks reported The EB Games Australia incorrectly listed the switch version of BANDAI NAMCO’s latest game based on Sword Art Online Anime. There’s no specific release date for the game — just a “2022” window — but with other Sword Art Online games moving to Switch, it wouldn’t be surprising if this was on the card.
Otherwise, nothing flashy about accidental lists! Placeholder box art and pricing, that’s it. Interestingly, Namco Bandai has announced that the game will receive new DLC on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam in the future.
When the game was first released on PS4 in 2020, our friends at Push Square called it “Technical confusion“.
