Nintendo announced today that Bayonetta 3 will be available on October 28th. A new trailer has also been released for the first time and can be found below. In addition, the Trinity Masquerade Edition has been announced.
In Bayonetta 3, Umbrawitch teams up with “familiar” including Viola and other Bayonettas to put an end to the homunculus horror. Players have new abilities at their disposal: Demon Masquerade.
“Use Bayonetta’s evil weapons and powerful new demon masquerade features to explode, trample, and slam your enemies with exciting over-the-top combos and demon power,” reads the line from the game description.
Viola is a character that can be played in Bayonetta 3. She wields a sword and has a small cat companion named Chesher. You can get a glimpse of the viola in the trailer above.
Players visit Bayonetta 3 in Tokyo and China. As in the previous two games, players try to chain combos. Other Bayonetta attacks include summoning demons such as Gomorra, Malphas, and Fantasmarane during combat.
The special edition comes with a 200-page art book and three reversible game cases in the Trinity Masquerade Edition. Details will be announced at a later date.
The original Bayonetta will be available on Nintendo Switch on September 30th as a standalone physical release for $ 30.
