Guillaume is on vacation this week, so I’ll let the rest of John, James, and Greg take care of the show while we’re impatiently waiting for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
A new business begins with Jon trying to lure recovered addict James back to Forza Horizon 5. The bait is the new Hot Wheels DLC. It looks like a lot of fun. Speaking of unhealthy playstyles, John participated in Diablo Immortal’s pay-2-win loot grind stage. This is a game where legends are bribed, server mates go to war, and whales lurk at sea. James has completed his Astral Chain. upon chain. I feel sorry for that joke, but that’s all the creativity this game deserves. Greg also finished his pre-Xenoblade work with Chrono Aphantacy Final Thoughts for his Reverie series. He offers some advice if you plan on playing both Klonoa 1 and 2.
After the break, we will work on three Listener Mails. Determine if the game is still in the Nintendo Arcade Archives, explain how to create a mail-order “upgrade” for the Collector’s Edition, and mourn the life it took to create one AAA.
