this is great!
For quite some time, All Elite Wrestling fans have been clamoring for two things: the return of Kenny Omega and AEW video game news. We’re still waiting for the former, but we have great news about AEW: Fight Forever. AEW and developer YUKES, he has partnered with THQ Nordic for publication, has confirmed a Nintendo Switch release.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have a release date, but some details about the game have been revealed.
Nostalgia is just the beginning of AEW: Fight Forever. Players can look forward to pulling off the latest wrestling moves seen in the hugely popular AEW programming. Online co-op wrestling is completely taken to the next level with tag team matches featuring a series of team maneuvers executed with simple commands. A long roster of the most popular AEW wrestlers, deep career his modes, wrestler creation, his signature AEW arena, multiple match types and even good old, unlicensed fun awaits!
Specifically, the following match types will be available:
- single match
- tag team
- 3 way
- 4 way
- ladder match
- casino battle royale
- Falls Count Anywhere
- Unlicensed Lights Out (Allows Use of Weapons)
- barbed wire explosion deathmatch
It’s a fun glitch if the explosion fails, right?
AEW: Fight Forever also features a career mode and many options for customizing wrestlers, movesets, entrances, tag teams and arenas. Of course, there is also online multiplayer and leaderboards. There is no official roster yet, but the next wrestler can be seen on screen with his capture.
