If you are familiar with outbreak series, we know we’ve worked hard to revive retro survival horror, from 2D to fixed camera, over-the-shoulder, and finally a first-person shooter since its initial release. , has explored different eras of the genre. outbreak Released in 2017.
But now is the time to fully embrace the future with the next generation of exclusives. Built from the ground up on the latest graphics technology, Outbreak: Shadows of Terror wants to combine a modern take on survival horror gameplay with cutting-edge graphics and a cinematic experience. We want you to feel trapped in this undead apocalypse. This includes making sights, sounds and scenarios more realistic. And best of all, this is the first Outbreak title to offer his online four-player co-op on consoles. But if you have friends at home, there’s also the option for 4-player split-screen co-op!

Story so far…
Outbreak: Shadows of Terror It takes place in the main city of Cypress Ridge, with a population of about 1 million, a busy and bustling urban environment. As the infection tears through the city, you find yourself in the boots of a daily survivor, trying to find a way to escape. I am not here for you. Your only mission is to survive and avoid joining the undead hordes.
As you and your fellow brethren battle your way through the city, you must scavenge for resources and use whatever you can find to defend yourself. Be sure to explore thoroughly when trying to stop them from chasing you.You can also find notes left by other survivors and city residents. There are clues about the apocalypse and even helpful hints and passwords.
This cinematic nightmare brings the undead menace to life.

Choose from first-person shooter, third-person over-the-shoulder shooter, or retro fixed camera angle gameplay to fight for your survival. This is not the kind of nightmare that requires you to stop to protect yourself. It introduces the latest in precision aiming and all the options you’d expect from a modern action-adventure title, and combines it with classic survival horror. Missing gameplay motifs from the 90’s and early 2000’s. I want this nightmare to be relatable and I want everyone to have a good time while they run hard!

That’s why Outbreak: Shadows of Terror A playable demo is available for Xbox Series X|S. This exclusive atmospheric teaser puts you in the shoes of her lone survivor in first-person shooter-view mode. After waking up from a horrifying accident, you find yourself trapped in the city. You must explore thoroughly, find supplies and weapons, and decide how to escape.
This demo has eight endings, designed to give you the freedom to explore and approach and solve this mystery in any way you choose. But you don’t live forever. As your Virus Gauge fills up, you’ll find yourself stepping closer to joining the undead horde.
