Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy 14 Release Date (opens in new tab)latest patch. Patch 6.2 titled “Buried Memory” will be delivered on his August 23rd in less than two weeks.
It’s also a pretty old chunk of updates. First, it includes an all-new feature: Island Sanctuaries. It’s a new type of casual solo experience that lets players hide in the countryside of a tropical island to build and tune their own personal farm. Here you can collect resources, build various facilities, and take care of various creatures. No prior crafting or gathering experience is required to play Island Sanctuary. It’s basically an isolated chillout space, separated from the rest of the game.
This patch also continues the main story with new quests and expands the side story Tatar’s Grand Endeavor. There is a new dungeon in the form of Trojan Fercote and a new his eight-player raid called “Pandaemonium: Abyssos” that transports players to the dungeons of Lahabria.
You can find everything that comes with 6.2 in the FF14 special Buried Memories website (opens in new tab)The release date announcement was accompanied by a new trailer you can see above. But it’s a very pretty and spectacular gibberish and I like those wiggly rat/rabbit stuff.
Square Enix has also detailed the features of its next update, patch 6.25. This includes new main and side quests, new daily quests, new weapon enhancement quests that allow players to acquire and enhance his Manderville Weapons, and much more to look forward to. But also included are his type of ultra-hard dungeons, known as Criterion Dungeons, which Molly has detailed. (opens in new tab).
