Marvel’s AvengersSquare Enix and Crystal Dynamics’ third-person action brawler is still alive and kicking. A game that sends you on sweeping adventures where you play as a cast of Marvel heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and others are getting two new patches. One of them introduces an all-new character, Winter Bucky Barnes as his Soldier.
forbes reported the news on thursday through an interview with of the Avengers Lead designer Brian Wagoner. According to the site, the 2.6 patch will introduce a new story called Villain Sector. This further develops Monica’s storyline as he attempts to reboot his MODOK after the events of his main campaign. Then his 2.7 patch which adds Bucky Barnes as the Winter Soldier as a new playable character.
Details about the new character are unknown at this time. However, Forbes has confirmed that he will appear with his own set of moves.
This is not the first new hero added to the game. In April, Crystal Dynamics announced that Jane Foster would be joining the cast as Thor. Marvel’s Avengers is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
