If you had a drinking party on Switch, would you be able not to drink until the end?
With Gamescom kicking off tomorrow, Geoff Keighley hosted the show tonight with a series of new announcements, including several Switch titles.
- Return to Monkey Island is the first title of the show to be released on September 19th (which happens to be International Talk Like A Pirate Day). Pre-ordering the game also awards horse armor, which is described as “not practical”.
- Dorfromantik will be released on September 29th.
- After last week’s Amazon leak, 2K and Gearbox have officially confirmed that New Tales From The Borderlands, the sequel to Telltale’s episodic adventure, will release on Switch on October 21st. Gearbox will handle development work for the sequel.
- Sega’s predicament Sonic Frontiers has released a new trailer confirming that the game will launch on all platforms on November 8th.
- A sequel to the 2020 co-op title, Moving Out 2 will release in 2023 and will also support four players.
- The Pokémon Company has unveiled a concept electric car (Pikachu-themed) using a mini, and is currently selling a model car of that design.
- Hogwarts Legacy repeats February 10th release for all platforms except Switch, date TBA
