MultiVersus today adds yet another new playable character to its all-star roster, joining Gremlins’ adorable mogwai Gizmo as the crossover fighting game’s fourth supporting class character. Also, he is big.
New MultiVersus characters keep rolling in, but this latest one is awesome — while the new title screen teases Stripe from Gremlin, he actually gets his much prettier counterpart first. Or 1 character ticket.

The first thing you’ll notice about the MultiVersus gizmo is that he giganticAdmittedly, Player First Games has to take some liberties in fitting certain characters into their games (see also The Iron Giant). 4 feet tall. He is a support his character in much the same vein as his Reindog, with numerous projectile attacks and the unique ability to cling to allied characters while using attacks as normal. If he’s not careful, he’ll end up giving his opponent a 2-on-1 ringout. His kit looks a lot of fun and has some depth to its mechanics and versatile tools, so I’m looking forward to giving Wee Mogwai a proper run in the coming weeks.
MultiVersus continues to prove itself to be one of the best free Xbox games, and this first season brings even more characters. Rick Sanchez of Rick & Morty fame will be joining his sidekick later in Season 1. Plus, we know it will add Gizmo rivals Stripe and Black Adam, as well as Ranked and Arcade modes. Based on the many MultiVersus rumors and leaks making the rounds, will it be added to the roster on top of that?
