Today’s Nintendo Direct Showcase was filled with either felt release dates very close or very far away. The news that the classic arcade shooter Radiant Silvergun from acclaimed Japanese developer Treasure is coming to his Switch couldn’t be better. Plus, it lands on consoles today!
A classic of its genre, the Radiant Silvergun offers five different weapons to defeat a constant onslaught of enemies with ships of various ridiculous sizes. The game wears its arcade and Sega Saturn heritage on its sleeve with its retro pixelated look.

We reported on rumors that the game might be making its way to Switch in 2018, but just a few weeks ago it was revealed that the game is coming to Tokyo Game Show. And we can play it!
