Every hero has three abilities (plus a standard punt) that can be used on the pitch. These range from something as simple as shooting a ball very fast or rolling towards it from afar at super speed, to shooting with a gun or setting up a bumper wall to block the ball from coming. There are various things to do. The variety is astounding and this football/air hockey big game is always chaotic.

Beyond the actual gameplay, Omega Strikers has plenty of hooks to keep you playing. There are all sorts of quests you need to complete to earn currency and a big old store full of characters and cosmetics to add to your collection. He also plans to add new content (usually maps and characters) every two weeks for quite some time after launch, which is pretty impressive.

At the core of Odyssey’s design philosophy is to provide the best multiplayer experience for everyone.
