Tony Stark makes a solo return to video games as EA and Marvel Games announce a new Iron Man game in development at EA Motive.
The game will be a single-player action-adventure game featuring Marvel heroes. EA Motive’s previous projects include Star Wars Battlefront II in 2017 and Star Wars Squadrons in 2020. The team is also currently working on a Dead Space remake, due for release on January 27th, 2023. The studio recently added Olivier, an Eidos-Montreal graduate who worked on last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy game published by Square Enix, to his prole. Lead this new project.
According to a blog post on EA’s website, the game marks a new long-term partnership between the company and Marvel Games, calling the Iron Man game “the first of several new games.” increase. The new game will be Iron Man’s first non-VR solo video game since 2010’s Iron Man 2, as Sega previously licensed the Iron Man IP. Iron Man VR was released in 2020 exclusively for his PlayStation VR. Open-world Iron Man game was in production at Just Cause developers Avalanche Studios in the early 2010s before being quietly canceled in 2012.

Some of the event’s most notable announcements include Black Panther/Captain America’s co-headlining adventure game and Pokémon Go developer Niantic’s mobile AR game.
