Released on December 2nd. Currently listed for PS5 only (this is Japan, no physical Xbox). PS4 version is not listed. Maybe new generation only? pic.twitter.com/aCWhuAh2oW

On the game’s listing, Neowing provided a stylized image of the game’s logo, complete with cartoon cars. Along with that were four screenshots of him showing anime-style characters and environments. This is definitely a big change for a franchise that has focused heavily on realistic visuals.
Cel-shaded visuals have proven to be polarizing in the gaming community, and it will be interesting to see how fans and newcomers rate the new aesthetic. It should be easy to do!
It’s also interesting that the game is only listed for PS5. This confirms reports that the game will only come to current generation consoles.
CDJapan spoiled the surprise a bit, but fans will still want to be on the lookout for the game’s official announcement. I hope there’s a gameplay trailer showcasing how these anime visuals are in action.
