My first headset purchase was a Turtle Beach for Xbox 360. I was so excited to get my hands on my first headset and carefully took it out of the box to admire it on the train ride home…it fell apart in no time. I didn’t have the best opinion of the brand, but I have to admit that the Turtles are doing well with their transition.
Distance between my first headset and the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max Wireless (opens in new tab) (Well, a bite.) It’s as vast as the ocean.
This headset immediately stands out for its aesthetics. I especially like the navy and gold version which I love. No RGB lighting or other gamer quirkiness, instead there are large, closed ear cups that favor a simple and clean design. It feels like it’s doing it, but it’s sitting slightly forward on top of your head.
Combined with a drop-down boom mic, the strong fighter pilot vibe that the Stealth Gen 2 offers transforms the wearer into a really cool-looking maverick.

The exterior looks very sleek, all plastic which isn’t all that unusual, but it feels a bit cheap due to the large flat panel.The plastic mic is clear and fine for chatting, but when pulled down It creaks slightly, and the buttons and volume dial on the back don’t feel as smooth as they should.
All of these things aren’t really on the radar for general use and don’t really affect my experience, but every time I use these features, I know they can make me feel better. This is not what you want in a $200 (A$319) headset.
I was worried that the padding on the cup itself would be similar and feel a little cheap, but thankfully, structurally, it couldn’t be farther away. The sides have a synthetic leather finish and the face has soft areas to keep sweat from absorbing.There is also a cooling layer to prevent the finish from getting too hot on your face. Headsets with these pads often feel too hot to wear even after a short gaming session, but it didn’t feel that way with these cans.

As a bonus for our glasses-wearing buddies, there’s even an adjustable piece of padding for the glasses’ arms. This is a little more difficult than the manual makes it seem, but once it’s off you can easily adjust this setting. You can also get a good look at the cups and speakers underneath.This boosts your confidence more than anything else. very I like your head
If you’ve ever felt unloved, we recommend getting this headset. The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max hugs my head the tightest I’ve ever had, but without any discomfort. It’s a good thing that these cans have a lot of filling, as the band stretches little to no width.
I really expected some immediate discomfort due to the pressure they exert, but somehow they never get to that point. It has enough space to hold the skull firmly without squeezing it from the sides. I’ve found that the top of the head under the headband tends to tire first. This could be done with a little more padding, similar to its padded cup brethren.
This could also be partly due to the weight of the headset. It’s not terribly heavy, but it’s noticeably heavier than other headsets I’ve used, such as the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless. (opens in new tab).
I can put this on battery life because it’s really pretty good. I think it’s worth about 3 days. However, the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless still holds the top spot for batteries. That being said, the Stealth 700 Gen 2 probably has the second best wireless battery of any headset I’ve used, and it doesn’t live up to its silver.

As far as sound goes, that’s another place where the Stealth 700 Gen 2 does a great job, but it’s certainly not the best. but it just doesn’t handle very loud max volumes very well.
There are additional modes such as footstep enhancement, but the software is cumbersome and only available via mobile devices. On top of that, I’ve found it doesn’t really do much. There was a three-dimensional effect in all modes, and I could hear the enemy’s footsteps and direction sounds well.
I think the Turtle Beach can is perfect for atmospheric sounds, always an excellent soundtrack when you’re exploring Genshin Impact’s new smell area when it suddenly starts raining in the tropical jungle. I was enjoying myself. I put my controller aside and experienced a stolen moment in another world. This should be the hallmark of a good headset.
Another big advantage to the Stealth 700 Gen 2 weapon is its connection range. It comes with a dongle (probably smaller) that works on PC and Xbox. In addition to that, there is Bluetooth pairing for devices such as Switches and mobile phones. This is a headset that works with every device I own and is very easy to move to and from devices. You can even have multiple Bluetooth and dongle connections at the same time, so it’s a really handy little beast.
One thing is for sure, the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max Wireless is the best Turtle Beach headset I’ve ever tried, and possibly the best the company has ever made. It looks cool, is very comfortable most of the time, sounds great, has good battery life, and it does it all. You won’t get full audiophile quality, but it’s a pretty good gaming headset, especially if you’re a fan of running Dolby sound. It also feels a little cheap.
