The Plague Tale: Requiem 1.005.000 update adds performance mode to PS5
As pointed out by Game official Twitter account, the latest A Plague Tale: Requiem update adds the option to increase the frame rate to 60 frames per second. Analysts haven’t opted for the update yet, so it’s unclear how much the visuals have been toned down to make up for it.according to digital foundrylaunched at 1440p, rebuilt up to 4K, and ran at a relatively steady 30 frames per second.
As shown in the image above, the settings are in the menu and the player must switch back to the main menu. The 1.005.000 update patch notes were less specific, so this update didn’t seem to add much more.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is one of the few current-generation exclusive games to ship without the 60 frames per second option on consoles. Gotham Knights and Redfall are two other big examples of him, and while Arkane’s vampire shooter performance updates are in the works, nothing has been announced for the superhero RPG. Meanwhile, other current-gen exclusives like Dead Space Remake, The Last of Us Part I, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor had at least some visual options on consoles.
