Hennig has been in the video game industry since the 80’s and has worked on numerous titles including Atari’s Electrocop and Crystal Dynamics’ Legacy of Kain series. However, she is best known for her work on Sony Interactive Entertainment and her Naughty Dog game. After Hennig worked on her Jak 3, she produced 4 of her Uncharted games. When asked what her Marvel games are like and what to expect genre by genre, Hennig said:
See, if you’ve played my previous games, it’s not too far off the mark. As a gamer and creator, I love playing in action-adventure worlds. Again, if you’re familiar with my work, you’re familiar with DNA. But we do a few different things. As you can imagine, the pillars of our project are: It’s story-driven, it’s character-driven, it’s kind of deeply cinematic, and it’s very cinematic. We’re doing some really cool stuff in this space that we’ve never seen before.
Hennig added that players should expect “best in class” visuals. But equally important for Skydance New Media is that the game is based on a universally loved IP, making it welcoming and engaging to all.
