Fortnite doesn’t have an official collaboration with the FIFA World Cup this year, but the popular battle royale game has arrived thanks to the obsession of British player Jordan Pickford. In an interview published in UK official YouTubePickford explained that the case contains a complete setup, including a monitor.
As covered by Eurogamer, the football star was asked about the incident about eight minutes into the interview. When asked what he does during his breaks at camp, Pickford replied, “I try to recuperate, feel better, get massages, whatever I need, spend time with young people. Fortnite.I’m still.Fortnite vibes.”
Interviewer Josh Denzel said the PC was “the right kit” and took the opportunity to cover a video of Pickford with a case en route to the World Cup. When it comes to games, Pickford says, “I haven’t played around with it.”
At home, Pickford explains that he plays on his PC setup, but normally he only takes his laptop with him when he travels, but this year he was really sick of playing on a small screen. The solution was to build a travel case to fit a larger monitor with a hardened gaming laptop to run Fortnite. “I’m just trying to get the best frame,” he concludes. “Let’s take the lead.”
Fortnite just kicked off its game-changing fourth season this week, so it’s no surprise that Pickford is keen on some of the games.
