Apex Legends Mobile Season 3: Champions went live last week, debuting the new Battle Pass and Season Store, as well as a host of limited-time events. But the star of the season is, of course, Ash. A human-turned-simulacrum who debuted in Titanfall 2 and made the transition to mobile after joining his Apex game in Season 11.
You might think you know this legend inside and out, especially if you’ve played Titanfall 2 or Apex Legends, but playing Ash on Apex Legends Mobile and playing Ash on consoles and PC are two different things. Doing is two very different experiences. This is one of her dues to her abilities that have had to be tweaked to fit her gaming needs on mobile. But there are other factors when it comes to tailoring your gameplay strategy to Ash on her mobile device. Follow this guide to learn how to get the sharp agitator’s scoop and use her mobile-exclusive perks to your advantage.
foundation
callsign: Ash
full name: Ashley Reed
Year: 121
Once a human scientist and assistant to a genius Dr. Mary Sommers (aka Horizon), Dr. Reed was known for his work on Brancium, a rare but powerful fuel source only available from space (black holes are also involved and complicated). Brancium was to be used for the purpose of saving the Outlands from a deadly energy crisis. However, unbeknownst to her colleagues, her participation in Dr. Reed’s research (called Project Iris) was all a ruse. After faking an accident that caused her mentor to fall into a black hole, Dr. Reid turned on her other colleagues (including Pathfinder) and attempted to transfer the Brancium shipment to another location for unknown reasons. .
she ultimately failed, die in the process before being brought back to “life” as a simulacrum. After her memory was restored, her personality split into her two halves. The ruthless, bloodthirsty Ash and the terrifying remnants of her human consciousness, Lee. Now she can join her Apex Games to destroy all that remains of her human side of herself and wield her full control to destroy her Leigh. Meanwhile, Lee is desperately trying to break through her surface and regain control of her own body before it’s too late.
ability
As with any mobile game port, Ash’s three main abilities are technically the same as on consoles and PC. However, it works a little differently in Apex Legends Mobile. Ash’s abilities are as follows.
Passive: Mark of Death
Ash’s map shows recent deathbox locations and marks the surviving attackers. However, although it’s called a “passive” ability, you’ll need to manually use on-screen prompts to throw data into his knife into the death box and analyze its contents.
Tactics: Arc Snare
Ash throws a spinning snare that damages and tethers the first enemy that gets too close.
Ultimate: Phase Breach
The Ash Rift opens a one-way portal to the designated location.
benefits
Perks are unique to Apex Legends Mobile and are a great way to fine-tune an individual Legend’s abilities to suit your playstyle. Continue playing Ash and progressing through her skill tree will unlock nine of her perks that can be equipped to further enhance Ash’s arsenal. There are three types of benefits for her: Standard perks. Finisher benefits, ability benefits. Standard perks are represented by triangular blue icons, while finisher and ability perk icons are purple and red respectively.Only one of each perk type can be equipped per loadout

Ash has the following perks:
Standard benefits
- Loot: Each Deathbox icon appears on the map in the same color as the top loot item inside it.
- red-handed exposing: The first time an enemy uses a scanned deathbox, its location will be pinged.
- Enhanced Hunting: After three deathbox interactions, the data knife reveals more information. After 6, a team of killers will appear on the map regularly (assuming they’re still alive).
Finisher benefits
- Combat Adaptation: Using a finishing move adds 100 points to your EVO Saild.
- Deadly Momentum: Ultimate cooldown is reduced by 30% after using Finishing Move
- magazine subscription: Using a finishing move refills your active weapon’s ammo and increases your reload speed for 8 seconds.
Ability Perks:
- Endurance Trap: Arc Snare persists after being thrown, but can be destroyed by enemies.
- Instigator Accuracy: Ashe’s Arc Snare throw trajectory can be adjusted, but at the expense of speed.
- Shadow step: Phase Breach can be reactivated within 7 seconds of first use, but the distance is halved.

Learn how to aim the arc snare. Throwing Ash’s Arc Scare is similar to throwing a grenade, but with a few differences. When aiming, Arc He will see a line showing the trajectory of when he throws the snare, and a blue dome showing the area that will be affected when he lands. However, this blue dome is a bit misleading, and you might find yourself trying to avoid enemies despite being within range of Ark’s snare.
For this reason, it’s a good idea to reach the shooting range and do some throwing practice to get a better sense of when you can and can’t hit enemies with arc snares. The good news is that compared to consoles and PCs, arc snares in mobile games tend to stick to the ground instead of sailing far like a useless void-powered Frisbee.
Hit the stone bridge to cross. Ash’s Phase Breach ability is incredibly powerful, but it can easily lead you into an ambush if you’re not careful. If you’re used to walking back and forth through Wraith’s portals, be aware that once Ash is torn to reality, there’s no going back. Be aware that this is a one-way street, whether you play as Ash or simply interact with one of her phases her tier. See what awaits on the other side.
Cheer up. Perks are very important in Apex Mobile, but it’s easy to forget to equip them. Fill your loadout as quickly as possible so you can compete with your opponents on a level playing field.

ideal loadout
The more you play Ash, the more perks you can unlock. Perks are so important to mobile gameplay that below we detail some of our favorite loadouts.
Standard Perk: Red Hand Reveal is a standard perk that is great for spotting enemy actions when looking for combat. It effectively turns Ash into a lean average ping machine. (To be fair, she was already skinny and mean to begin with. Be careful not to catch her off guard.
Ability Perk: Shadowstep It’s maneuverable, but its reduced range means it’s difficult to get far enough away to escape combat. Still, the fact that he can dodge damage every 7 seconds instead of every 120 seconds is an incredible boon for allowing Ash to move quickly between firefights. It also makes Phase Breach’s one-way travel less oppressive. Because you can quickly return to the original place.
Finisher Perk: Battle Adaptation It’s almost always the best perk in the mobile version of Apex Legends, as finishing moves are much easier to execute, but for Ash, Deadly Momentum is a close second. is useful, but the combination of Deadly Momentum and Shadow Step makes Ash’s Phase Breach ability available whenever you need it. If you’re not using Shadow Step as an Ability Perk, use Battle Adaptation to get a free EVO Shield boost. But if you really need speed, combine Deadly Momentum with Shadow Step and be prepared to circle around Wraith and Octane.
Of course, if a different set of perks suits you better, you should stick with it. This is the beauty of Apex Mobile’s Perk system. You can play the game with your own rules.
