For some players, Assassin’s Creed is about to become even more immersive.Ubisoft has teamed up with OWO Haptic Gaming Systems to develop a shirt that offers “multiple different sensations such as impact and parkour” while playing. Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The system comes with exclusive skins to match the game and is compatible with PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
How does Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s haptic feedback suit work?
The system works by attaching 20 gel pads to the tactile gaming system’s “skin” shirt. These send sensations to 10 different areas of the upper body, including the arms. These are adjusted using his mobile companion app, which also allows the player to customize the intensity of each sense.
In addition to the previously mentioned impact and parkour, this system allows players to feel the movements of the basim as they take down targets. However, if the wearer is injured, it also produces a stabbing sensation. OWO said there will also be “a special feeling that you’ve never felt before”.
OWO’s current system includes shot sensations (with or without exit wounds), minor and severe abdominal wounds, punches, dagger wounds, lifting weights, pushing objects, collisions, free fall, wind , and even provide sensations such as insect bites. The company didn’t say if “special sensations” would include the sensation of bending over when Basim falls off the roof.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage OWO haptic feedback system comes with a digital copy of the game. Players can get the system in nine different sizes ranging from 2XS to 4XL. The price of the bundle has not been disclosed, but the standard shirt can be purchased for €499. Initially, this bundle will only be available through: OWO website, but will be available at other retailers at a later date. The release date for the bundle is also unknown, but Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch on his October 12th.
