Retro aesthetics are all the rage amongst many trying to recapture those warm feelings of their childhood through nostalgia tinted peripherals. We’re seeing an influx of Commodore 64 inspired wares, with dusty grey plastic housings and orange highlights, like this XTRFY K4V2 TKL keyboard from Cherry. 8BitDo is another brand dipping into retro stylings, with the 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse – N Edition releasing across Europe. The Retro R8 Mouse joins the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard in grey plastic matrimony to complete this themed set. Aside from harkening back to a simpler time with aesthetics, the R8 actually looks like a…

Hi PlayStation Fans, Iām Melina from Ninja Theory, the actress who plays Senua in Hellblade: Senuaās Sacrifice and Senuaās Saga: Hellblade II. Iām beyond excited to finally share that Senuaās Saga: Hellblade II has arrived on PlayStation 5. Itās been a long, intense, and deeply personal journey, and bringing this sequel to PlayStation truly feels like coming home. Then one day, I was asked…
Live from somewhere in the 905.There shouldn’t be any question as to the biggest game of the week – for the first time since Wii U day 1, we can ask if you’re ready for some football as Madden NFL 26 comes to Switch 2. Yes, even more than a first party game in Drag x Drive, in Nintendo’s relatively inexpensive attempt to try something different with mouse controls on the S2. For the OG Switch, we have a few things of note: a turn based Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game in Tactical Takedown, a couple of Toaplan collections for…

When remasters of Heretic and Hexen were surprise-released last week, my interest was piqued despite myself. I played both in the ’90s and didn’t love either of them. Released in 1994 by Raven Software, Heretic was a fantasy take on Doom and it was OK. The following year Hexen offered an RPG take on Doomāby way of Hereticāand it drove me nuts. The weapons in Heretic were novel enough. I loved the shotgun-adjacent ethereal crossbow a lot, and punching gargoyles in the face with magic bracers was weirdly funny. It was always kinda cool how you could collect items to use…
