This will be the second time the game has been re-released following a 2018 3DS port. Luigi’s Mansion is the third of the seven games revealed on April 2 to come to the…

Ninja Gaiden 4 feels like a game that came out 15 years ago, and we mean that as a compliment. This blood-soaked, hard-as-nails action game eschews many contemporary design decisions, instead giving players a traditional, linear experience that’s refreshingly straightforward. A collaboration between action specialists PlatinumGames and Team Ninja, this is the first numbered sequel since Ninja Gaiden 3 soured things way back in 2012. We’re pleased to say Ninja Gaiden 4 takes a back-to-basics approach while mixing things up just enough to make it stand out from its predecessors. Case in point: Ryu Hayabusa takes a back seat. The…
Image: Square EnixDragon Quest VII: Reimagined may look all cute and cosy, but fans of the original game will know that its story is pretty dark when compared to other entries in the series. According to producer Takeshi Ichikawa in a new interview with GameSpark (thanks, Automaton), this is actually a key factor in the team’s decision to bring the game back for modern platforms. Ichikawa believes that players have grown more accustomed to games with darker narratives, and so this essentially paved the way to revisit Dragon Quest VII. “We decided to launch the project for Dragon Quest VII…
Happy 10th Anniversary, N++! – YouTube Watch On N++ released as a PS4 exclusive in 2015 before hitting PC a year later. It’s a platformer focused on fluid, momentum-based motion through stylish one-screen levels, and I can’t recommend it enough: nothing else feels like this game. In my 92/100 review I practiced no restraint at all. “In some ways N++ feels like the end of the action platformer,” I wrote, “like an exhaustive final document, a catalogue of its emotional highs and lows.”I stand by those words mostly because, ten years later, I still play N++ occasionally. There’s nothing else…
