Blacktail, Baba Yaga’s dark fairy tale, offers a choice-focused story filled with archery and magical combat, and launches next month on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
The stunning dark fantasy game Blacktail is set to launch on December 15th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and other platforms. It was developed by The Parasight and offers a blend of sorcery and archery as Baba makes choices to pilot his Yaga throughout the story. The latest trailer for the game gives us a closer look at this beautiful game.

In Blacktail, you play as a mythical creature known as Baba Yaga. Baba Yaga is depicted as a girl who was banished by the locals and forced to live with her sister in the forest. When Yaga’s sister mysteriously goes missing one night, you must learn how to survive in the Enchanted Forest and hunt down images of your past.
It’s a first-person action game with boss battles and a choice-driven story. Use the forest’s resources to craft trusty bow potions and arrows, encounter a multitude of talkative creatures, and decide the fate of Baba his Yaga and the lands around you. According to the game’s publisher, focus entertainmentthe choices you make affect your skill, so choices really matter when exploring this beautiful yet deadly land.
December looks like a good month for gaming, with games like The Callisto Protocol, Need for Speed Unbound, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and High on Life releasing. The latter will also drop directly on Xbox Game Pass.
