Nvidia has announced a new game publisher for its GeForce Now cloud streaming service: Bandai Namco, and more specifically Bandai Namco Europe. That’s probably why the first games loaded on the streaming service all seem to come from European developers. Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares II, 11-11 Memories Retold, Get Even, etc.
Little Nightmares II also supports RTX visuals, but only if you sign up for the Ultimate and Priority GeForce Now tiers.
This is another good news for the game streaming service, which has slowly regained favor with major publishers after some early dismissals. That said, while I was excited about the possibility of Elden Ring being sent from the cloud to many devices, I soon realized it wasn’t really coming. Elden Ring would have been perfect for him to get a GeForce Now when the game launched, but even today, he still wants to play it on his Samsung TV.
Speaking of TVs, LG 2023 TV owners have good news in the mix today, as GeForce Now sends 4K straight to your screen without the need for an external device like the Nvidia Shield.
Hopefully, Bandai Namco’s softening of its stance in Europe will lead Japanese publishers to bring more libraries to their streaming service. In any case, as Nvidia states, “Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II, Get Even and 11-11 Memories Retold are the first of many Bandai Namco titles coming to the cloud this week.” will be added soon.
But for now, Elden Ring support seems to have to wait, so I’m going back to Steam decks. (opens in new tab) You can play that particular game on the go.
